Where We're Located

It all started back in 1993 when U.S. COEXCELL was a brand new company, but had a very big and bold idea for making new plastic drums with more than one layer of HDPE resin – and offered a unique high-purity production system for the electronic chemical industry. You see, up until U.S. COEXCELL came along, plastic drum suppliers couldn’t manufacture drums to meet the low particle count standards required in the electronic and pharmaceutical chemical industries.

Plastic drums were produced with only a single layer of high density polyethylene or HDPE that contained pigments and additives that were incompatible with the chemicals being filled, or the drums were made with expensive steel and had to be treated or lined to prevent the chemical’s contact with the steel shell that would contaminate their product.

To overcome the purity challenge and meet the industries’ ultra pure standards, U.S. COEXCELL introduced a new kind of drum using a process they trademarked as U.S. COEXCELL™. The COEXCELL™ process set the industry standard for plastic drums in terms of low particle count, high performance and value. This revolutionary and proprietary process incorporated state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment with an advanced multistage air filtration system. The result … The COEXCELL™ process became an industry-leading benchmark because of its ability to use specially engineered, sophisticated resins as a separate liner layer in the construction of the drum and to actually condition or cleanse the air used in the manufacturing phase.

Before U.S. COEXCELL, no one had a methodology for effectively limiting the quantity and size of foreign particles during the container formation process. And, before U.S.COEXCELL, no one had the technology and creativity to customize the layer structure of the drum thus providing optimum barrier performance.

Since those early days, the big companies have all tried to duplicate the COEXCELL™ process. That’s why the men and women at U.S. COEXCELL are called pioneers. They have blazed a path for others to follow.

If you have a drum packaging challenge, let the technology and ingenuity at U.S. COEXCELL go to work for you.
